KITS, Ramtek Organizes a Survey Camp
Survey camp was organized for B.E. Sixth Semester Civil Engineering students of KITS Ramtek from 18th -21st April 2022 at Bharat Scout and Guide Center, Nagarjuna, Ramtek. During these four days student were engaged in systematic schedule of activities staring from yoga in morning, breakfast, surveying work, lunch, office work, sports and cultural events in evening followed by dinner. All the activities were planned in way to develop the leadership quality and team work among the students.
During camp workshop on use of Total work station was organized in association with REYAN Engineers & Land Surveyors, Deori, Gondia.
Er. Mangesh Urade an alumni of Civil Engineering Department, KITS Ramtek and presently proprietor of REYAN Engineers & Land Surveyor along with his team guided the students for practical application of advance surveying using total station and undertaken three projects of Road, Contouring and Topographic mapping. They are also agreed to provide internship for the students in surveying.
On last day Bone fire was organized to celebrate the successful completion of camp.
Mr.Shriniwas V. Rayadu has explained the use of survey camp to explore the students to actual site condition and develop the leadership quality and team work. Vikas Mendhe , Camp leader present the brief report of four days survey camp. Dr. S.L.Atmapoojya, Prof. & Head, Civil Engineering Department provided the history of survey camp of KITS Ramtek. Er.Mangesh Urade, told the student about the advance surveying techniques and demand of surveyors in construction Industry. Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhade, Principal, KITS Ramtek appreciated all student, Er. Mangesh Urade and his team and staff member involved in survey camp for working hard in this adverse atmospheric condition. He advised students to work on personality development and communication skill. Piyush Pradhan, Co-leader survey camp proposed vote of thanks.
Staff Incharge Mr.Shriniwas V. Rayadu, Co-incharges Mr.D.Mandal, Mrs. Kavita Kene , Mr.Rajat Yadav and Lab Technician Mr.W.Y.Sarode along with Camp Leader Vikas Mendhe and Piyush Pradhan worked hard for the successful completion for Survey camp
