Two Days Workshop on Introduction to Professional Practices in RCC Construction Organized by Department of Civil Engineering
Department of Civil Engineering, KITS, Ramtek conducted two days workshop for students on “Introduction to Professional Practices in RCC Construction” on 12th August & 13th August 2022. The event is inaugurated by Chief guest Dr. Ranjan R. Sonparote, Professor, Applied Mechanics, Dept. VNIT, Nagpur and Dr. Suryakant K. Mahajan, Structural Consultant and Trainer Struct e solution, Nagpur. In this inauguration function, Principal Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, Head of Department Dr. Anant N. Dabhade, workshop Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi K. Chouragade were present. Student participated in large number.
Dr. Ranjan R. Sonparote explained the students the important role of Civil Engineering construction in daily life and also guided the students. He explained the golden way of becoming a successful proficient engineer through his experiences & short stories. His speech was full of delight & shared humorous moments he had experienced in his life.
Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, Principal KITS, congratulated all participants and motivated the students for conducting such type of workshops.
Head of Department Dr. Anant N. Dabhade gave information about Civil Engineering Department.
The anchoring of the workshop was done by Rahyma sheikh and Deep Asutkar. The session was ended by a Vote of Thanks by Krishna Pise. All the Teaching Faculty members and Non-Teaching staff were present in workshop.
