KAVIKULGURU INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE (KITS)

A Covid- 19 Vaccination camp was organized at the Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science (KITS) Ramtek on 23rd August. The camp was inaugurated by Tehsildar Balasaheb Maske. At this time mainly the Principal of KITS, Dr. Dr. Avinash Shrikhande, Taluka Health Officer. Dr. Chetan Naikwar, Primary Health Centre. Dr. Pravin Chamat, Dr. Mangesh Ramteke, Health Assistant Pradeep Khante, Dean Student Activity, Dr Pankaj S. Ashtankar were present along with Students and Faculty Members. Nearly 300 people including professors, non-teaching staff, students took second dose and booster dose in the camp. Tehsildar Balasaheb Maske said that it is important for everyone to take booster dose. Corona can be kept away by taking a booster dose. He said that on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of Independence, the central government is giving free booster doses to people above 18 years of age till September 30. Dr. Avinash Shrikhande and Dr. Chetan Naikwar also guided the students. Vaccination work was done by nurses Payal Dhatrak and Pragati Badre.
