Event “BIG BANG” organised by Mathematics Club
Event “BIG BANG” of Mathematics Club was held on 21st January 2020 during 4:30 P.M to 6:30 P.M. in the Room numbers 962, 963 and New Drawing Hall. The event was for firstyear students only. The event has three rounds “Brain Drain”, “Sphinx” and “Trickery”.
There were 38 participants for the round “Brain Drain’’, the test on Aptitude. Five groups with four students in each group were formed for the next round from twenty participants selected in the Brain Drain. Each group was given a mathematical puzzle in the round “Sphinx”. The groups, which took minimum timeto solve the puzzle, were selected. Three groups were selected and six pairs were formed for the final round. In the round “Trickery”, each pair has to make 2D and 3D geometrical shapes like square, rectangle, rhombus etc with the match sticks and give details of shapes in the given time. The pairs, those were performed extremely well, selected as winners. Winners in the first position are Tejas Kapse (IT19006) and Harshal Bodhe (IT19062), Winners in the second position are Tanuja Bawankule (CE19018) and Achal Sahare (CE19017).
Event “BIG BANG” of Mathematics Club became successful with the approval, direction and help of Dr. B. Ram Rathan Lal, Principal, Dr. P. S. Ashtankar, HOD-ECD & Associate Dean (Student Activities), Dr. S. S. Pokley, HOD of ESH, Shri. B. Venkanna, Staff in charge and hard work of all office bearers. This event was well organized by Mr. Shubham Raj, President and all office bearers.
