"Combined Inaugural Function" of all the Forums, Associations, Student Units and Chapters for the Academic Session 2025-26

Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Ramtek, celebrated the grand inauguration of 20 student clubs, associations, and forums in a ceremonious event held on 08.08.2025 at 3:00 PM at the institute's Silver Jubilee Conference Hall. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Chandrahas Handa, former Director of Vidarbha Institute of Technology, Nagpur, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and keynote speaker. The ceremony was Graced by Principal Dr. Avinash Shrikhande, Dean (Student Activities) Dr. Pankaj Ashtankar, Dean IQAC Dr. Yeshwant Jibhkate, Heads of Departments, faculty members, forum and association members, and a large gathering of students. In his inspiring address, Dr. Handa emphasized the vital role of forums in shaping the personality of students. "Real life begins beyond the pages of books, and forums provide that platform," he said. Highlighting the Prime Minister's vision of India becoming a developed nation by 2047, he urged students to recognize their role as the nation's future. "The world demands skilled youth, and India is poised to meet that demand. Dedicate four years of focused effort to your studies, and success will inevitably follow," he added. Principal Dr. Shrikhande in his speech remarked that forums and associations instill self-confidence in students, enabling them to accomplish significant goals with ease. Dean(SA) Dr. Ashtankar briefed the gathering about the structure and functioning of all the student bodies, noting that they serve as effective platforms for enhancing students' skills and competencies. The program was conducted by Harvansh Katre, Noor Pathan, Sanskar Murle, and Vishakha Belge. Guest introductions were presented by Monali Rahangdale, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Pallavi Shende.
