Webinar on "Innovation and Business"

The Incubation Center, in association with the R & D Cell, organized a webinar on "Innovation and Business" for the third-year students of Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering on 11th August, 2025 at 03:15 PM in the Kalidas Seminar Hall. The speaker, Mr. Bhushan Kousadikar, Senior Manager, Gala Household Products Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, explained the importance of innovation and how earlier innovations evolved into large-scale businesses. He emphasized that identifying problems in existing products or processes is the most crucial step in the innovation process and encouraged participants to actively look for such opportunities. He urged the participants to indentify the problems in the existing products or process as problem identification is the main step in the innovation process. The webinar was coordinated by faculty members Mr. D. C. Katpatal and Dr. S. K. Bhele. The session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by a third-year student, Mr. Prashant Roshankhede. A total of 60 participants from different engineering branches attended the webinar.
