Speech and Essay Writing Competition on Completion of 150 Years of "Vande Mataram" National Song on 17/10/2025

The Government of India has announced nationwide celebrations to mark the 150th anniversary of "Vande Mataram," the national song composed by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee. The celebrations which include mass recitations, educational campaigns, and cultural events aim to connect the youth with the history of the freedom struggle and highlight the song's pivotal role in it. On this occasion, the NSS Unit organised a Speech and Essay writing competition on 17/10/2025 at 3.00 P.M. The Chief Guest, Dr. Pankaj Ashtankar, Dean(SA),addressed the gathering and emphasized the important role of the National Song in inspiring freedom fighters during the independence movement.
Dr.K.Gajanan, HOD (ASH) and 50 students along with NSS volunteers were present. A total 04 students participated in the Essay writing competition. The program was conducted by Ms Arpita Mishra and vote of thanks was proposed by Ms Monali Rahangdale.
