Valedictory Ceremony of Associations and Forums at KITS Held with Great Enthusiasm

The valedictory function of 17 different student forums and associations of Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Ramtek, was conducted with great enthusiasm on 30-04-2026 at Silver Jubilee Conference Hall. The program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr. Vijay Wadhai, Principal of St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology (SVPCET), Nagpur. The function was presided over by the Principal, Dr. Avinash Shrikhande. On this occasion, Dr. Pankaj Ashtankar, Dean (Student Activities), Dr. Yashwant Jibhakate, Dean (IQAC), Dr. Vilas Mahatme, (Dean Academic), along with Heads of Departments, Deans, faculty members, and a large number of students were present. .
While addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Dr. Vijay Wadhai praised the visionary leadership of the late Founder chairman, Hon’ble Sri. V. Rajeshwar Rao and the institution’s proud legacy of over 40 years and emphasized the strong network of alumni as a valuable asset. He stated that students, right from their first year of engineering should nurtured to inculcate the habit of research. He noted that the institute provides an excellent academic environment and that student forums play a crucial role in developing diverse skills. He encouraged students to focus particularly on essential skills such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing. In his presidential address, Dr. Avinash Shrikhande appreciated the students for successfully organizing various competitions through different forums. He emphasized that along with professional education, pursuing hobbies contributes significantly to the holistic development of students. In the introductory remarks, Dr. Pankaj Ashtankar provided an overview of all forums and associations, stating that they offer students practical exposure to both technical and non-technical domains. .
During the ceremony, Prize winners and best outgoing members were felicitated with certificates and mementos at the hands of the dignitaries. Hon’ble Secretary of Vodithala Education Society, Sri V. Srinivas Rao, Conveyed his best wishes and blessings. His constant support and encouragement have always been a pillar of strength for the institution.
The program was anchored by Vedanti Vaidya, Gaurav Vaidya, and Abhishek Wanjari, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Monali Rahangdale.
