“Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” – a Tree Plantation Campaign by NSS Unit at Zila Parshad School, Manapur

As part of the visionary campaign “ Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiated by Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendraji Modi, the NSS Unit, KITS Ramtek and Zilla Parishad School, Manapur organized a tree plantation and environmental awareness programme at Z.P. School, Manapur, on 11 August 2026 at 4:00 P.M.
The programme aimed to spread awareness among students about the importance of trees, environmental conservation, ecological restoration and the need for collective action towards sustainable development.
The awareness on “Importance of trees in our life” was conveyed to the students during the campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”. Total 75 students and NSS volunteers and staff were present during campaign.Tree sapling of Neem, Karanji and Pipal etc.done in the school premises.Mr Kene sir (H.M.) and School staff supported and helped during the event.
