FDP on Speak to Inspire: The Power of Communication for Educators

A faculty development program on “Speak to Inspire: The Power of Communication for Educators” was organized by KITS, Ramtek on 13th August 2026.
The session was conducted by Dr. Vivek M. Nanoti, Director (Engineering), LTJSS – Priyadarshani Group of Institutions, Nagpur. The program focussed on the significance of effective communication in enhancing teaching and learning in engineering education. The speaker emphasized that clear, confident and engaging communication can help educators to simplify complex technical concept and create a possitive environment. Various aspects of verbal and non-verbal communication, including voice modulation, body language, active listening, storytelling, questioning techniques, and effective feedback were discussed by the speaker. The session also highlighted the importance of questioning and effective feedback in building stronger connections with students.
