About Vodithala Education Society
The Vodithala Education Society was established with the objective to establish, aid and maintain Educational and other Institutions, to impart education at all stages for the promotion of Engineering, Medicine, Law, Commerce, Literature, Arts and Sciences and all other subjects for diffusion of useful knowledge in Andhra Pradesh and any where in India and to devise ways and means and accord facilities for candidates to specialise in all or any of the above subjects.

About Ramtek
Ramtek is one of the important pilgrim centres and tourist attractions of Maharashtra State. It has both mythological and historic importance. It is about 45 kms from Nagpur and is well connected by road and rail. It is a serene town abounding in scenic beauty and is free from noise and air pollution. Tourists from all over India come to visit Ramtek. It is hallowed by the feet of Lord Rama when he visited the ashram of the great sage Agastya on the hill nearby. It is at this holy place that Lord Rama took a vow to destroy the demons. Hence the place came to be known as Ramgiri or Ramtek.
During the reign of Vakataka King in Vidarbha around 400 A.D the great poet Kalidasa visited Ramtek on a royal mission. Captivated by the idyllic atmosphere in and around Ramgiri, he gave expression to his famous epic Meghdootam. This fact is suitably commemorated by the Maharashtra State Government by erecting a monument on the hill where Kalidasa sat and concieved the great epic. Ramtek is basically a taposthala from time immemorial where great souls engaged themselves in the quest of enlightenment. The greatest of Buddhist philosophers and Indian alchemists Acharya Nagarjuna lived here. Chakradharaswamy of Mahanobhava Panth lived and meditated here about 600 years back. A famous Jain Temple is also erected at Ramtek.
A natural waterfall at Totladoh and an artificial lake at Khindsi are the chief tourist attractions around Ramtek.
Industrial estates are also setup in and around Ramtek which are attracting leading organisations to setup their industries here. DCL Polysters, Pennar Aluminium, Suryalaxmi Group and Visakha Industries have already commenced production. Asia's biggest industrial estate is being setup at Butibori which is 80 km away and has a vast potential to offer ready employment opportunities.
Late Sri V. Rajeshwara Rao (FOUNDER CHAIRMAN) former M.P (Rajya Sabha) is an agriculturist and educationalist. Being a visionary, he started a Private Engineering College in Hanamakonda way back in 1979 to cater to the needy along with a Junior College and Warangal Public School. A number of Educational Institutions are being run in Telengana Area under his able guidance. He started KITS, Ramtek in 1985 with the blessings of Hon. Sri P.V.Narasimha Rao, former Prime Minister of India to provide Engineering Education to the rural students. He is the Chairman of three educational societies which are running V.M.R.Polytechnic, Hanamakonda and Kamala Institute of Technology & Science, Singapur (A.P.). He was a member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly (1972-78) and the Legislative Council (1980-85). He was also a member of various development bodies at Samithi, District and State level. In his capacity as a Rajya Shaba Member he was appointed as a member of various committees like Committee on Industry, Committee on Urban and Rural Development, etc. He was the election incharge for the former Prime Minister Sri P.V.Narasimha Rao during 1991 and 1996 general elections in which he was elected with huge majority from the Nandyal constituency, A.P. He is a member of the Secunderabad Club, Jubilee Hills International Centre, Country Club, etc. He had been to the U.S.A., Singapore, Thailand, U.K. and Malaysia. He is a philanthropist and constructed Balaji Temple with Kalyanamantapam for the use of public his native place and also helped liberally the needy to persne their higher studies. His favourite pastime is reading and gardening.

Sri V. Lakshmikantha Rao (PRESIDENT) is a retired Army Captain. His administrative skills have helped in developing several Educational Institutions run by Ekasila, Vodithala and Manohara Educational Societies. His determination and self discipline, acquired from his army stint, are the qualities which helped him in managing the administration of various institutions very efficiently. The noticeable features of discipline and orderliness among students and staff in all these institutions are due to him. Apart from managing educational institutions he is also showing keen interest in developing the surrounding areas of his native place Singapur. Recently one more Engineering College was started under his stewardship at Singapur as part of his plan to develop the rural areas. Of late he is involving himself in politics to serve the people of Telengana, particularly the underdeveloped areas. He had been to the U.S.A. and Europe. He is popularly known as a person of helpful attitude. His pastime is reading.

Sri V Srinivasa Rao B.Tech from Kakatiya University is the Executive Director (SECRETARY/TREASURER) of Vodithala Education Society with a vision to provide quality education to the needy students at all levels. He is one of the founder members of the society. As an Executive Director, Srinivasa Rao has been providing key strategic direction and monitoring the finances of all the institutes under the purview of Vodithala Education Society. Armed with his experience as an entrepreneur and educationalist he is guiding the institutions sponsored by the society, whose wards have competitive advantage of being employable the moment they hold their credentials. The development and success of the institutions reflects his enthusiasm and sustained efforts to put his vision to work every day. He has been awarded the Rashtriya Ratan Award by the Global Economic Council, New Delhi for his outstanding individual achievement and distinguished service to the nation. Sri V Srinivasa Rao visited many countries including UK, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, and UAE and is an avid reader and spends his leisure time gardening and traveling.
