Project Based IPR and Incubation

A two days workshop on “Project based IPR and Incubation” was organized by Innovation and Incubation center under the aegis of Institution’s Innovation cell and Internal Quality Assurance  Cell (IQAC) of Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and  Science (KITS), Ramtek on 28-29 March 2023. The workshop was inaugurated by Chief guest, Dr. S. S. Khedkar, Director, TBI, YCCE, Nagpur. The guest of honor was Prof. D. Y. Shahare, Member TBI, YCCE, and Nagpur. Both the guests were the resource persons for the workshop.

The chief guest discussed various topics such as How to convert innovation into reality, Steps in Incubation, online patent search, online patent filing and tricks to get a patent before stipulated time. While Prof. D. Y. Shahare focused on startup steps and various sources of funding available for startup.  

Dr. Avinash N. Shrinkhande, Principal, KITS, Ramtek focused on the importance of innovations and research in technical education. The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Dhananjay. C. Katpatal , Coordinator-Innovation and Incubation center. The convener of the workshop, Dr. Krishna Padole, Asstt. Prof., ESH Dept, Staff committee and student committee members worked hard for the success of the workshop. Around 360 participants of various engineering departments participated in the workshop.
