Since the inception of the institute in the year 1985, we have remained steadfast in our
commitment to building confidence, improving communication skills, inculcating a
competitive spirit, imbibing ethics, and inspiring a forward-looking attitude in the young minds
of our students. It is our firm belief that "Ayogyah Purusho Naasti" - meaning, "there is no
person who is incompetent" - which can be interpreted to mean that even a below-average
student can be mould into a competent Engineer or Architect with the right motivation and
guidance.
The Vodithala Education Society, Hyderabad (Telangana), the managing body of the Institute,
led by a visionary and a dynamic personality, Sri. V. Srinivasa Rao, Hon'ble Secretary, has
gradually created and added several facilities and opportunities for students at KITS, Ramtek.
The principles that have always guided the institution and the methodologies practiced here,
have made this a distinctly different institute, carving a special place for itself in the field of
professional technical education in India. I am proud to state that this institute has consistently
met the expectations of its stakeholders - students, teachers, industry, and society at large.
I am pleased to share that the Institute has produced several competent professionals over its 40
years of existence. Our alumni occupy prestigious positions across India and abroad - in
Government as well as in corporate sectors - including countries like the UK, Germany, Italy,
Canada, and Australia. We are truly proud of our alumni. The Institute is permanently affiliated
with RTM Nagpur University and offers UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses in various fields of
Engineering and Technology, including Architecture. The institute provides a wide range of opportunities for holistic student development. It has a
dedicated Training and Placement Cell, an active Incubation Centre to promote innovation and
entrepreneurship, and a vibrant campus life through its various departmental clubs and
associations. The presence of NCC and NSS units helps instill discipline, social responsibility,
and a spirit of service among students. The P. V. Narasimha Rao Library at the Institute is a
haven for book lovers and researchers alike. The syllabi of various subjects have been redesigned and updated in alignment with the
provisions of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, promoting multi-disciplinary
learning, academic flexibility, and skill-based education. In addition, the Institute facilitates student support services such as timely provision of
education loan documentation and assistance with various scholarship requirements, ensuring
that students from all backgrounds can pursue their academic goals without hurdles. The Institute has been a recipient of the 'A' Grade from the Government of Maharashtra. In
2024, it was accredited with prestigious 'A' Grade by NAAC, Bangalore. Most significantly, in
the academic year 2024-25, the Institute was granted AUTONOMOUS STATUS by UGC,
New Delhi - a milestone achievement in our pursuit of academic excellence. Autonomy empowers the Institute to design its own curriculum, introduce industry-relevant
courses, conduct its own examinations, and declare results independently. For students, this
results in a more dynamic, skill-driven, and updated academic environment, improving their

between scientific discoveries and their practical applications is built by engineers. It is not
