I congratulate and welcome you on behalf of the Vodithala Education Society, Hyderabad, for
choosing this Institute for your academic pursuits to become a competent professional.
I am proud to state that during the 40 years of glorious existence of this Institute, we have
mould students to lead lives of impact and meaning. We have always strived to groom the
students to be the leaders of the future - with competence and excellence to face the challenges
of the nation and society. The faculty members here are committed to maintain the highest
standards of academic excellence.
It was in the year 1985 that the Founder Chairman, late Sri V. Rajeshwar Rao, Ex-M.P. (Rajya
Sabha) - a visionary, environmentalist and philanthropist - took a daring step to establish KITS
in this remote area of Central India, at the instance of late P.V. Narasimha Rao, former Prime
Minister, who represented Ramtek Lok Sabha constituency then as an MP.
It was the dream of our Founder Chairman to create opportunities for students from the rural
areas of the nation so that they have easy access to quality technical education. It is my proud privilege to mention that we have lived up to his expectations and have never
compromised on the issue of academics, in tune with the vision of our late Founder Chairman.
The lush green, eco-friendly campus free from pollution is entirely due to his concern and love
for the environment. Various amenities and facilities are provided on campus to cater to the needs of students. KITS
has a residential campus with ample hostel facilities for both boys and girls, with in-house
dining and all comforts for a pleasant stay. It also offers excellent amenities for sports and
other recreational activities. I am also pleased to share that the Institute has been awarded 'A' Grade accreditation by
NAAC, a reflection of our academic rigour and institutional integrity. Further, the Institute was
granted Autonomous status by the UGC in the academic year 2024-25, a significant milestone
that empowers us with greater academic flexibility and innovation in curriculum and
evaluation. The motto of the Institute -'Shraddhavan Labhate Dnyanam', meaning 'One with steadfast
devotion attains knowledge' - forms the guiding spirit of the Institute, and all our academic
policies are aligned with this motto. Thank you all for being a part of this incredible Institute. We remain committed to further
developing it as one of the most reputed institutes of excellence, and I wish you the very best
in all your future endeavors.
