KITS,Ramtek Celebrated World Bicycle Day On 3rd June 2023

NCC, KITS, Ramtek Unit organized a successful "World Bicycle Day" event on 3rd June 2023. The aim of the event was to encourage people to engage in outdoor activities and foster a cycling culture nationwide. With the consent of Kits College and the 2 Mah Sig Company NCC, Nagpur, the event commenced at 5.30 am from Gandhi Chowk in Ramtek. The event received overwhelming enthusiasm from fellow NCC Cadets, and the participation was further boosted by the support of Shrishti Saundarya, a non-profit organization. Notable college staff members like Mr.L.C Tibude Sir, Mr.D Mandal Sir, and Mr.A.Rahate Sir also actively took part in the event.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

         The primary objectives of the event were to increase awareness about the importance of physical fitness and promote cycling as a sustainable mode of transportation. Additionally, it aimed to enhance knowledge about environmental conservation practices and their impact on the community. The event successfully achieved its goals by instilling a sense of discipline and teamwork among the NCC cadets. Despite challenges, the event was deemed a great success, thanks to the immense help from the Principal and Dean of Student Activities. Under the leadership of Mr. Rajat S. Yadav, the Caretaker Officer of NCC KITS Unit, 15 NCC cadets participated actively, contributing to the event's triumph.
