One Day Workshop on NPTEL-Innovative Learning

One day workshop on “NPTEL - Innovative Learning” was organized by Institute Innovation Council and Research & Development Cell under the aegis of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Ramtek on 17^th  January 2025. The workshop was inaugurated by Chief guest, Dr. Prashant Daigavane, Professor, Government College of Engineering , Nagpur . The chief guest was the resource person for the workshop.

Dr. Prashant Daigavane  initially explained the need of NPTEL SWAYAM courses and its importance  in the present curriculum to enhance technical skill and acquire knowledge in multidisciplinary fields to increase employability skill. Further he emphasized on how to get specialization in domains, majors and  minors in degree certificates. He also explained about procedures to enroll in NPTEL courses, fee structure and examination patterns and various awards offered to the students and faculty.

Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, Principal, KITS, Ramtek focused on steps taken by the institute to increase awareness about NPTEL courses. He also informed about NPTEL Local chapter and reimbursement of course registration fees to the faculty members.  Dr. Satish K. Bhele ,Associate Professor and Dean (R&D) worked as a Coordinator of the workshop. The anchoring of the workshop was done by Mrs. Harshita Jain, Asst.Professor in the Computer Department.  . The session was ended by a vote of thanks by Mrs. Sujata Alone, Asst. Professor, Electrical Department. Dr. D. C. Katpatal, Asst. Professor and Incubation Coordinator worked hard for the success of the workshop . Total 109 students of various branches and  faculties of KITS, Ramtek have attended the workshop.
