Industrial Visit to Suryalakshmi Cotton Mill Limited, Nagardhan, Ramtek on 7th February, 2025
The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Kavikulguru Institute of Technology & Science, Ramtek has organized one day industrial visit to Suryalakshmi Cotton Mill Limited, Nagardhan ,Ramtek on 7th February 2025 as part of industry-institute interaction.
The objectives of the visit are to create awareness to the students about the industry and practices carried out. The students of 4th semester (34 students) and 2 faculties visited the industry.
The students were observed the fabrication of denim cloth from raw material cotton to different division like spinning, dying, sewing, finishing, cutting, an inspection of cloth, and finally packing.
The activity was coordinated by Dr. P. P. Parhad and Mr. P. G. Pokley (Industrial visit Coordinator) .
