The Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Ramtek, solemnly observed the 94th birth anniversary of its Honourable late Founder Chairman, Sri. V. Rajeshwar Rao Garu on 16th September 2025. A great philanthropist and visionary educationist, Sri. Rajeshwar Rao was the Founder Chairman of the Vodithala Education Society, Hyderabad. He established KITS on September 19, 1985, in the rural area of Ramtek, and the institute has now completed 40 glorious years, empowering the lives of countless students, especially those from rural backgrounds. The day's events began with a heartfelt tribute. Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, the Principal, along with the Heads of Departments (HODs), faculty, and staff, gathered to pay their respects. They offered floral tributes at the memorial of the great soul, located in the Administrative Building. This act was a profound acknowledgment of his enduring legacy and the foundational values he instilled in the institution. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Avinash Shrikhande said, "Sri. V. Rajeshwar Rao Garu's unwavering commitment to education and his philanthropic endeavors have left an indelible mark on society. He is remembered as a truly great human being. The staff of KITS continues to draw inspiration from his life and work, striving to uphold the standards of excellence and compassion he championed.
