40th Foundation Day Celebration

40th Foundation Day of Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science, Ramtek was celebrated on 19.09.2025 under the aegis of Internal Quality Assurance Cell in Silver Jubilee Hall, KITS, Ramtek. The program was started with Saraswati Vandana and garlanding the portrait of the Honorable Founder Chairman, Late Sri. Rajeshwara Rao Garu. Dr. Rahul V. Ralegaonkar, Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, VNIT, Nagpur has graced the occasion as a Chief Guest. Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, Principal, KITS, Ramtek has shared his views on the 40 year of journey of KITS, Ramtek. Dr. Pankaj S. Ashtankar, Dean (SA) has introduced the Chief Guest. The Chief Guest delivered an expert talk on “Transformation of Engineering Education from Rural to Global”, where he emphasized that while academic education provides a foundation, it is often insufficient in today’s highly competitive landscape. He stressed the need for students to take personal responsibility for their skill development in order to succeed. He urged every attendee to reflect on their strengths, weaknesses, and interests, to identify areas for improvement, and to actively seek opportunities for growth. He also highlighted the significant contribution of KITS, Ramtek, in nurturing competent engineers who are recognized globally for their expertise. He further remarked that KITS has played a vital role in realizing the vision of “40 Years of Academic Excellence: Inspiring Generations, Transforming Lives.” We extend our heartfelt gratitude and special thanks to Sri V. Srinivasa Rao, Honorable Secretary, Vodithala Education Society, Hyderabad, for his continuous guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support, which have been instrumental in enabling us to achieve 40 glorious years of academic excellence. We sincerely acknowledge his visionary leadership and constant motivation that has inspired every step of our journey. Ms. Manshika Nitnaware of 2nd year conducted the proceedings of the function and Dr. Vilas Mahatme , Dean (Academic) quoted the vote of thanks.
