Swachhata Hi Sewa: Cleanliness Drive Held by Ncc cadets of KITS, Ramtek at Nagardhan Fort
The NCC Unit of KITS, Ramtek organized a Swachhata Hi Sewa Cleanliness Drive at Nagardhan Fort
on 26th September 2025, beginning at 6:30 AM. The initiative was a part of the nationwide campaign
to foster awareness about cleanliness and environmental responsibility. Cadets from A Set, B Set, and
C Set actively participated in the drive, which sought not only to restore the surroundings but also to
cultivate the habit of hygiene and ecological care among the youth.
During the program, cadets took part in multiple activities such as collecting waste and segregating it systematically. The effort was not just a one-day exercise but a step toward inspiring long-term responsibility and sustainable practices. The discipline, energy, and unity displayed by the cadets reflected the spirit of the NCC and left a positive impact on the community.
This social activity was in alignment with the ideals and legacy of Sri Rajeshwarao Garu, the late Honorable Founder-Chairman of Vodithala Education Society.
The NCC unit sincerely acknowledge the invaluable guidance of Sri. V. Srinivasa Rao, Honorable Secretary, Vodithala Education Society, whose vision continues to inspire such initiatives. We also recognize the unwavering support of Dr. Avinash Shrikhande, Principal, KITS Ramtek. The campaign was led by Lt. Rajat S. Yadav, Associate NCC Officer and Assistant Professor (CED) and to SUO Rudransh Chandankhede, President NCC KITS, Ramtek. The cleanliness drive truly reflected the spirit of NCC-Unity and Discipline in Action leaving a lasting impact on both the cadets and the local community.
