Silver Jubilee Alumni Meet of 1996 Batch at KITS, Ramtek

Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Ramtek, hosted a grand reunion of the alumni of the 1996 batch on 27 December 2025 at the Silver Jubilee Hall, with enthusiastic participation from over 130 alumni from India and abroad.
The programme was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Avinash Shrikhande, who, in his address, highlighted the significant contributions of KITS alumni in making the institute’s name known globally through their professional achievements. He also felicitated Sri. Uday Nagaraju, distinguished alumnus of KITS, on his appointment to the House of Lords, United Kingdom, describing it as a moment of immense pride for the institute.
Sri. V. Srinivasa Rao, Hon’ble Secretary, in his message, thanked the alumni for their continued association with the institute and praised them for their achievements in their respective professional journeys. He had a special word of appreciation for Sri. Uday Nagaraju for bringing laurels to the institute and the country, and congratulated him on his stupendous achievement of being appointed to the House of Lords, United Kingdom.
The event was graced by the presence of Alumni Representative Uday Nagaraju and several eminent alumni including Suvarcha Malhotra, Prasad Kimmatkar, Varun Agrawal, and Akanksha Rais, along with Heads of Departments, Deans, faculty members, and alumni.
On the occasion, the alumni paid homage to Hon’ble Late Shri P. V. Narasimha Rao, former Prime Minister of India, and Hon’ble Late Shri V. Rajeshwar Rao, Founder Chairman, Vodithala Education Society.
The alumni fondly recalled their association with the institute and expressed joy at reconnecting after 25 years
The introductory address was delivered by Mangesh Jaiswal, President, Alumni Association, while the programme proceedings were conducted by Lokesh Srivastava, Ms. Pranita Singh, and Ms Anjali Narad. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms Sheetal Kathikar.
