Felicitation of Shri Uday Nagaraju Prominent Alumni at KITS, Ramtek
On the occasion of the Silver Jubilee Alumni Meet of 1996 Batch Shri Uday Nagaraju,
distinguished alumnus of Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Ramtek, was
felicitated for his stupendous achievement of being appointed to the House of Lords, United
Kingdom. The felicitation programme was held on 27 December 2025 in Ramanujan Seminar
Hall, of Administrative Building.
The programme was attended by Heads of Departments, Deans, and Programme Committee
members. Seated on the dais were Shri Uday Nagaraju, Principal Dr. Avinash Shrikhande, and
Shri Mangesh Jaiswal, President, Alumni Association. The felicitation was carried out by the
Principal on behalf of the Managing Society (Vodithala Education Society), faculty, staff, and
students of the institute.
In his message, Shri V. Srinivasa Rao, Hon’ble Secretary, congratulated Shri Uday Nagaraju on
his remarkable achievement and expressed pride in his association with the institute.
During the felicitation, Shri Uday Nagaraju expressed deep gratitude and shared his reflections
on his association with KITS. He praised the institute’s unique cultural diversity, bringing
together students from the North-East, Jammu & Kashmir, North, South, East, West, and
Maharashtra, describing it as the richest blend he had experienced since joining the Computer
Technology Department in 1996 as a student. He also commended the institute’s emphasis on
discipline and punctuality.
He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Founder Chairman, Hon’ble Late Shri V. Rajeshwar Rao,
and the Secretary, Hon’ble Shri V. Srinivasa Rao. He recalled his childhood association with
Hon’ble Late Shri P. V. Narasimha Rao during election campaigns, which ignited his interest in
public life.
He acknowledged KITS for his holistic development in discipline, professional skills, and
character, and attributed his entire journey leading to the House of Lords to the nurturing and
value-based environment provided by the institute.
The programme was compered by Ms. Anjali Narad, and the vote of thanks was proposed by
Shri Mangesh Jaiswal, President, Alumni Association.
