Guidance Seminar on Road Safety Awareness
The Nagpur Rural Traffic Branch organized a Road Safety Awareness and Guidance Seminar on January 5 at Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Ramtek. The program was presided over by Dr. Pankaj S. Ashtankar, Dean of Student Activities.
On this occasion, Shri Gyanendra S. Tiwari, Police Sub-Inspector, Maharashtra Police, currently serving in the Traffic Branch, Nagpur Rural, graced the event as the resource person. Teaching and non-teaching faculty members, along with students, were present in large numbers. Dr. Ashtankar formally introduced the speaker and highlighted the importance of such awareness programs in ensuring road safety.
While addressing the gathering, Shri Tiwari emphasized that most road accidents can be prevented by strictly following traffic rules. He advised two-wheeler riders to always wear helmets, maintain speed limits, and avoid the use of mobile phones while riding. He also urged four-wheeler drivers to compulsorily use seat belts for their safety. The program was efficiently conducted by Ms. Monali Rangdale, a 4th-semester student of Electronics and Communication Engineering, who also expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, and students.The Electromatix Forum gratefully acknowledges the constant support and motivation of the Honorable Secretary, Vodithala Education Society, Hyderabad, Shri V. Srinivasa Rao, for encouraging such awareness initiatives. The forum also extends heartfelt thanks to Dr. Avinash N.
