Three-Day Heartfulness Meditation Practice Workshop Organized by Electronics and Communication Engg. Dept.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) organized a 3-Days (17th, 20th and 21st February 2026) Workshop on Heartfulness Meditation Practice under the esteemed Fit India Movement. The workshop was conducted with the objective of promoting mental well-being, emotional balance, and inner peace among students and faculty members.

The sessions were conducted under the expert guidance of Preceptor Hemant Khorgade, who introduced participants to the core principles and practical techniques of Heartfulness Meditation. Each session was held on the scheduled days and time, offering attendees a structured and serene environment to experience the benefits of meditation.

The workshop commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Pankaj S. Ashtankar, Dean (Student Activities) who warmly introduced the resource person and emphasized the importance of mental fitness alongside physical health. He motivated students to actively participate in such initiatives and encouraged maximum enrolment in similar workshops in the future. Over 55 students, along with several faculty members from various departments, enthusiastically participated in the sessions. The interactive guidance, practical meditation exercises, and insightful discussions enabled participants to understand effective stress management techniques and cultivate emotional resilience. The Electromatix Forum gratefully acknowledges the constant support and motivation of Shri. V. Srinivasa Rao, Honourable Secretary, Vodithala Education Society, Hyderabad, for encouraging such awareness initiatives. The department also extends its heartfelt thanks to Dr. Avinash N. Srikhande, Principal, KITS Ramtek, for his guidance and encouragement in promoting academic and co-curricular activity at the institute.
