Visit to Vrudha Ashram, Mansar(Ramtek) on 23th March 2026
The NSS Unit of Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science, Ramtek organized a visit to a Vrudha Ashram in Mansar (Ramtek) on the occasion of Gudi Padwa, 23rd March 2026.
During the visit, NSS volunteers conducted various fun-filled activities such as pass-the-balloon, dice throw, and hit-and-win games. The volunteers also spent quality time interacting with the elderly residents, who shared their valuable life experiences. Refreshments were distributed to all, adding to the joy of the occasion. The elders thoroughly enjoyed the activities and the cheerful atmosphere created by the students.Mr. Gajbhiye, in charge of the Vrudha Ashram, extended great support in successfully organizing the event. The program was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Avinash Shrikhande and Dr. Pankaj Ashtankar, Dean (Student Activity).
This visit not only brought smiles to the faces of the elderly but also instilled a strong sense of social responsibility and community engagement among the students, truly reflecting the spirit of NSS – “Not Me, But You.”
Dr. Uddal Hatwar, Program Officer, along with his dedicated team members Amay, Yash, Tanmay, Lalith, Vaishnavi and Mayuri worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the event.
