One-Day Workshop on "Arduino with Sensors"

The Research and Development Cell and Incubation Centre of Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Ramtek, in association with the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Department of Electrical Engineering, successfully organized a One-Day Hands-on Workshop on "Arduino with Sensors" on 7th August 2026.
The workshop was inaugurated in the presence of Chief Guest Dr. S. G. Kadwane, Guest of Honour Dr. Atul Lilhare,, Principal Dr. A. N. Shrikhande, Dean R &D) Dr S.K.Bhele, Dr. D.C. Katpatal, Incubation Coordinator, Workshop Coordinator Dr Shilpa P. Ashtankar , Deans, HOD’s, faculty members and students participants. The dignitaries emphasized the importance of embedded systems, sensor technology and hands-on learning in developing practical engineering skills aligned with Industry 4.0 requirements. They encouraged students to actively participate in such skill-development programs to enhance their technical competencies.
A total of 107 participants from the Departments of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering enthusiastically participated in the workshop. The participants received practical training on Arduino hardware and software, interfacing various sensors, programming using the Arduino IDE and implementing real-time data acquisition and control applications through hands-on experiments.
The workshop provided an excellent platform for students to gain practical exposure to embedded systems and sensor-based applications, fostering innovation, problem-solving abilities, and interdisciplinary learning.
The workshop was organized under the esteemed guidance and support of Sri. V. Srinivasa Rao, Secretary, Vodithala Education Society, Hyderabad, and Sri. V. Pranav, Executive Director, Vodithala Education Society, Hyderabad.
The program was conducted under the guidance of Dr. A. N. Shrikhande, Principal, with the support of the Research and Development Cell and Incubation Centre. The organizers expressed their gratitude to the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, faculty members and all participants for making the workshop a grand success.
