Cleanliness Drive at Shani Mandir,Ramtek on 12th Aug.2026

In view of "Swachhata Pakhwada" from 01 to 15 August 2026,the NSS Unit conducted cleanliness drive at Shani Mandir,Ramtek on 12/08/2026 at 3.45 p.m.
The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of our college organized a Cleanliness Drive on 12/08/2026 with the aim of promoting cleanliness, hygiene, and social responsibility among students. The programme was conducted under the guidance of the NSS Programme Officer Dr.U.B.Hatwar and Mr.Shubham Nimbekar.
The drive began with a brief introduction about the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment.They collected plastic waste, dry leaves, and other litter and disposed of it properly.Students and volunteers worked enthusiastically as a team. The programme helped create awareness about the harmful effects of littering and the importance of reducing plastic waste. It also encouraged students to take responsibility for keeping their surroundings clean.
The cleanliness drive was successfully completed with the active participation of 50 NSS volunteers, teaching staff and non-teaching staff. The programme was a valuable step towards developing civic sense and environmental awareness among students.The program was grand success under the guidance of Dr. A. N. Shrikhande, Principal and Dr. Pankaj Ashtankar, Dean (Student Activities), KITS Ramtek.
