Teachers’ Day Celebration – 2026

The Teachers’ Day Celebration was enthusiastically organized in all the Academic Departments of Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Ramtek, on 5th September 2026 (Saturday) from 11:00 AM onwards.
The programme was organized by the students with great enthusiasm and respect to express their gratitude towards their teachers. The students warmly welcomed the teaching and non-teaching staff members along with their fellow students in their respective departments. .
The celebration commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the removal of darkness through knowledge and wisdom. This was followed by a warm welcome and felicitation of the respected Principal, Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, and Dean (Student Activities), Dr. Pankaj S. Ashtankar, along with the faculty members. .
The programme was graced by the presence of Principal Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, who extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all the teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. In his inspiring address, he highlighted the significant role played by teachers in shaping the lives, character, knowledge, and future of students. He emphasized that a teacher is not only a source of academic knowledge but also a mentor, guide, motivator, and role model who helps students become responsible, confident, and successful individuals. .
The Principal also gratefully acknowledged the pivotal role of the Vodithala Education Society, Hyderabad, in the growth and development of the Institute. He especially expressed his sincere gratitude for the continuous support, guidance, encouragement, and motivation provided by the Honourable Secretary, Sri V. Srinivasa Rao Garu. .
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to the respected Principal, Dean (Student Activities), management, faculty members, staff, student organizers, and all the participants for their valuable contribution in making the Teachers’ Day Celebration successful and memorable. .
