Forty First Foundation Day Celebration

The Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science, Ramtek organized 41st Foundation Day Celebration on 19th September 2026 at Silver Jubilee Conference Hall. The programme commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp, followed by Saraswati Vandana.and tribute to founder Chairman Honorable Late. Shri Rajeshwar Rao Garu. Dr. Surendra Gole , Professor, National Academy of Defence Production , Ministry of Defence , Nagpur was the Chief Guest and the program was presided over by Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, Principal, Dr. Pankaj S. Ashtankar, Dean(SA), Dr. Vilas Mahatme , Dean ( Academic), Dr. Yeshwant Jibhkate , Dean(IQAC), all the HODs, Deans, faculty members, staff and students were present on the occasion.
Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, in his Presidential address, highlighted the glorious journey of KITS Ramtek over the past 41 years since its establishment on 19th September 1985 by Hon'ble Late Sri V. Rajeshwar Rao Garu, Founder Chairman, Vodithala Education Society, Hyderabad, a visionary educationist and philanthropist from Singapur, Telangana. He recalled the vision of the Founder Chairman to provide technical education, particularly to students from rural areas, and highlighted how the Institute has been contributing towards its realization by shaping the lives and careers of countless students through technical education. He fondly mentioned that the legacy and vision of the Founder Chairman continue to guide the Institute under the leadership of Sri V. Srinivasa Rao, Secretary, Vodithala Education Society, Hyderabad.
Dr. Surendra V. Gole delivered an enlightening and thought-provoking address on the theme of "Know Yourself. In his nearly two-and-a-half-hour-long address, drawing extensively upon the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita, he reflected on the importance of understanding oneself, discovering one's inner potential, and finding purpose and meaning in life. He also spoke on the importance of recognizing opportunities as they arise and making the best use of them. He emphasized that self-understanding and purposeful action are essential for achieving meaningful success in life.
The proceedings were conducted by Miss Jaswini Gullapalli of B.Tech 4th year Computer Technology and also proposed vote of thanks. The organizers place on record their sincere gratitude to Hon’ble Sri V. Srinivasa Rao, Secretary, Vodithala Education Society, Hyderabad, and Hon’ble Sri V. Pranav, Executive Director, Vodithala Education Society, Hyderabad, for their constant motivation and support in organizing such programmes. The organizers also acknowledge the encouragement extended by Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, Principal, in organizing such events.
The committee members worked hard towards the successful and smooth conduct of the programme.
