Combined Inaugural Function of Forums And Associations

Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Ramtek organized the Combined Inaugural Function of all Forums, Associations, Student Chapters and Units on 22nd September 2026 at the Silver Jubilee Conference Hall.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp, followed by Saraswati Vandana. The programme was graced by Dr. Shrikrishna A. Dhale, Principal, Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Nagpur, as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Virendra K. Taksande, HoD (ETC) and Dean (Student Affairs), Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Nagpur, as the Guest of Honour.
Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, Principal, KITS; Dr. Pankaj S. Ashtankar, Dean (Student Activities); Dr. Vilas Mahatme, Dean (Academic); HODs, Deans, faculty members, staff and students were present on the occasion.
Dr. Pankaj S. Ashtankar gave an overview of the various Forums, Associations, Student Chapters and Units and explained their structure and functioning. Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, Principal, highlighted the importance of Forums and Associations and appreciated the efforts involved in organizing their activities.
Miss. Tanvi Nyaykhor, B.Tech, 4th Year Information Technology introduced the Guest of Honour, Dr. Virendra K. Taksande, who spoke about the importance and effective functioning of various Forums and Associations.
She also introduced the Chief Guest, Dr. Shrikrishna A. Dhale, who appreciated the systematic process followed by KITS for the formation of Forums and selection of student office bearers. He expressed his interest in adopting a similar process at his institution.
The Executive Body Members of various Forums, Associations, Student Chapters and Units were introduced by student representatives Miss. Pallavi Shende, B.Tech , 3rd Year, Electrical Engineering and Mr. Priyanshu Bisan, 3rd Year, Civil Engineering. The Chief Guest and Guest of Honour were felicitated with Shawl, Shrifal and Memento. The institute expressed its sincere gratitude to Hon’ble Sri V. Srinivasa Rao, Secretary, Vodithala Education Society, Hyderabad, and Hon’ble Sri V. Pranav, Executive Director, Vodithala Education Society, Hyderabad, for their constant motivation and support. The proceedings were conducted by Miss Jaswini Gullapalli of B.Tech 4th year Computer Technology and Mr. Sommedeep Mohade,B.Tech ,2nd year , Electrical Engineering and Ms. Janvi Fursule, B.Tech , 2nd year , Computer Technology proposed the Vote of Thanks. The programme concluded successfully with an encouraging and positive response from the participants.
