Technical Model Exhibition and Competition

The Mechanical Engineering Association (MEA) of the Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a “Technical Model Exhibition and Competition” on 16th September 2026 from 2:00 PM & onwards. The event was organized with the objective of encouraging creativity, innovative thinking and the practical application of engineering knowledge among students through model preparation and presentation.
A total of 110 students, forming 19 groups, from the second and third years of Mechanical Engineering participated enthusiastically in the exhibition and competition. The event encouraged healthy competition among students and motivated them to explore innovative ideas and practical engineering applications.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Respected Principal, Dr. A. N. Shrikhande, in the presence of the invited guest, Dr. P. G. Mehar, Asst. Prof., Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, KDK College of Engineering, Nagpur and Dr. Y.M.Jibhakate, Head of the Department, Mechanical Engineering.
All the faculty members and students of the Mechanical Engineering Department visited the exhibition and appreciated the innovative efforts, creativity and technical skills demonstrated by the participants.
The technical models prepared by the participating students were evaluated by the constituted Jury Committee on the basis of their technical concepts, innovation, creativity, practical application and presentation.
Following the evaluation, the winners securing First, Second and Third positions, along with two consolation prizes, were declared during the prize distribution ceremony.

The event was successfully coordinated by Mr. Y. R. Suple, Event Coordinator, Technical Model Exhibition and Competition, along with Mr. P. G. Pokley, Staff In-charge of MEA and other office bearers of the Mechanical Engineering Association.
Their dedicated efforts, coordination and commitment contributed significantly to the smooth organization and successful completion of the program.
