Induction Cum Orientation Program held for First Year B.Tech. and Second Year B.Tech. (DSY) students 2026-27

The Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities (AS & H) of KITS Ramtek organized an Induction Cum Orientation Programme (ICOP-2026) for the students of First Year B.Tech. and Second year BTech ( DSY), lateral entry at Silver Jubilee Conference Hall on Thursday, 24/09/2026 at 11.00 AM
. The programme was inaugurated by lighting the auspicious lamp along with recital of Saraswati Vandana at the hands of Principal Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande and other dignitaries.
In his address, the Principal, Dr.Avinash N.Shrikhande, introduced the esteemed members of management. He outlined the institute’s teaching methodology, systematic evaluation of students through examinations and the emphasis on 100% syllabus coverage.
He further elaborated on the wide range of curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities conducted through various clubs/associations/forums for holistic development of students, while underlining the importance of discipline and adherence to the code of conduct by students. The Principal also briefed the gathering about the various on-campus amenities available.
Dr. K. Gajanan, Head, ASH Department, shared information about the academic schedule, class work, importance of communication skills and counseling. He introduced the faculty and staff members who would be engaging the respective classes.
Mr. Srinivas Rayadu, Coordinator Admissions, proposed the vote of thanks. He profoundly thanked the management, especially Sri.V.Srinivasa Rao, Secretary and Sri. V. Pranav, Executive Director, for their constant support and motivation in all the endeavors at the institute.
Mr. Y.Bakale, Asst.Prof. Department of ASH conducted the proceedings of the programme. More than 200 students, parents/ guardians, 20 faculty and staff members were present during ICOP-2026 (3rd phase) .The organizing committee worked hard for the successful conduct of the programme.
The ICOP-2026 concluded with singing of the National Anthem.
