Traffic Awareness Program Organized in KITS, Ramtek
Nagpur Rural Traffic Police and Janakrosh NGO jointly organized a Traffic Awareness Program on 15th March 2022 Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science (KITS) Ramtek. On this occassion, Nagpur Rural Police Sub-Inspector Shri Chetan Marathe, JanaAcrosh NGO's official Shri Lalit Tapase, Principal Dr. Avinash Shrikhande, Dean (SA) Dr. Pankaj Ashtankar, Registrar Parag Pokley, Shri Maheshchandra Jadhav, police personnel including Shri Shankar Madavi, Shri Sudhir Yadav, Shri Akash Shirsat, staff members and students of KITS,Ramtek were present in large numbers.
While guiding the students and staff, Shri Chetan Marathe said that among the youth, violation of traffic rules, driving at speed, not wearing helmet are the is commonly seen practices. It has become a habit to disobey traffic rules. Therefore, the rate of accidents and deaths is higher among people in the age group of 15 to 35 years. He further appealed everyone to strictly follow the traffic rules.
