Study Tour 2022 at Village Rajapuri, Tahsil Murud-Janjira, District Raigad, Maharashtra.

An educational tour was organized by the Architecture Department of Kavi kulguru Institute of Technology and Science Ramtek at village Rajapuri, Tehsil Murud-Janjira, District Raigad, Maharashtra. This tour was scheduled from 22/03/2022 to 27/03/2022 total 23 students and six staff including prof. Anjali Narad, prof. Pratik Purkar, Uday Ghavghave, Mrugakshi Wadichar, Ruchita bhagat & Bhavna Raut was participated. In this educational tour, the entire settlement was studied including the documentation of Rajapuri village in which land use, zoning, transportation, social aesthetics, economic conditions and amenities including town planning were studied and finally the work done was displayed to the villagers. The importance of the village is due to its tourism and fishing on which the livelihood of the village depends. The citizens expressed the feeling that this study will help to Rajapuri and can send to various departments of the government for the preparation of DP plan. With the help of Sarpanch Mrs. Hirkani Gidi, Panchayat Member Mahendra Ambatkar, Mahadev Koli Samaj Member Shri. Ganesh Monnak, former Sarpanch and Muslim community president Liaquatbhai Kaskar, community secretary Zubair Siddiqui and other senior members of the community, all this has been made possible. Architecture Department head Mrs. Kalpana R. Thakre have guided the staff & students. Also dean Academic and Principal Dr. Avinash Shrikhande have given valuable guidance and support to all during entire process. |
