Special Camp Conducted at Hiwra during 12/02/2024 to 17/02/2024
NSS Unit, KITS,Ramtek conducted a special camp at village Hiwra during 12/02/2024 to 17/02/2024.On the first day of camp, NSS volunteers prepared the site for the camp.The NSS camp was inaugurated at the hands of the Principal Dr. Avinash N.Shrikhande,Dr.Pankaj Ashtankar,Dean (SA) in the presence of the other guests Sarpanch Mr. Sunil Gajbhiye,Upsarpanch Rakesh Kumbhalkar and Mr.Sachin Chauhan, Headmaster Z.P.school, Hivra on second day of camp.The activitites like drawing, painting,dancing, singing,etc were organised for the Z.P.School students.Dr.Bapu Selokar,an Yoga expert shed light on Yoga and its role in healthy life during Yoga activity. Total 50 NSS volunteers were present during the activities.Free Medical Health Checkup Camp was organised for the villagers.Dr. Bhushan Natkar and Dr.Snehal Natkarhave did health checkup of the villagers .Total 90 villagers and students had health checkup and distributed free medicines were provided to them.The awareness rallies on “ Beti Bachav, Beti Padhav”, Swachata Abhiyan, “ Save Tree & Tree plantation”,“ Save Water” and “New voters Awareness” were conducted during the camp. The valedictory programme was held in presence of Principal Dr.Avinash Shrikhande, Dean (Acad.) Dr. Vilash Mahatme,Dr.Pankaj Ashtankar,Dean (SA) Sarpanch Mr. Sunil Gajbhiye,Upsarpanch Rakesh Kumbhalkar which was followed by a cultural event performed by students and nukkad natak by NSS volunteers. Our NSS Program Officer, Dr.Uddal B.Hatwar guided and organised the camp.The NSS unit expresses gratitude tothe Principal Dr. Avinash Shrikhande for his motivation,guidance and constant support for organisation of this camp, Dr. Pankaj Ashtankar, Dean (SA), NSS Program Officer Dr.Uddal Hatwar,Project Officer shri R.Srinivasa Rao and entire supporting staff of KITS Ramtek.
