"Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" conducted by Department of Information Technology
The InfoQuest forum of the Information Technology department has conducted “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” on 31/01/2020. The event was conducted in front of UCO bank and Post office premises inside K.I.T.S. institute campus from 12:00 noon to 1:00 P.M. The event was graced by Dr. B. Ram Rathan Lal, Principal, KITS, Ramtek by his auspicious presence. Dr. P. S. Ashtankar, Associate Dean (SA), Mrs. Saroj Shambharkar, Head, ITD along with the teaching and non-teaching staff of the IT department participated enthusiastically in the event. Total 66 students from Information Technology department have actively participated in cleaning the premises. The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is also known as Clean India Mission. The main aim to conduct this event on the college premises was to make students aware of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and to make the environment clean & healthy. The event has shown the glimpse of the enthusiasm and the energy of the students in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness around their surroundings.
