Lohri Celebration at KITS, Ramtek
Every year the students of KITS, Ramtek who are residing in Trveni and Jamuna Hostels use to celebrate the Lohri festival in a traditional way in eve of Makar Sankranti. This year also they have been celebrated the same in the premises of college ground on 14th Jan 2020. This event was organized by the committee consist of third and final year hostel students in coordination with Dr. Pankaj Ashtankar, Asso.Dean (Student Activities) and Sr.Warden. On this occasion, students are invited Dr. B.Ram Rathan Lal Principal & Chief Warden as a Chief Guest.Principal performed the Lohri rituals to bonfire and lighting it up for the celebrations. Sri. Venkanna, Sri. Katpatal, Sri. Ramana Reddy, Sri. Savya Sachi, Physical director, P. Ajay were also present on the occasion. Students made an exciting and enthusiastic show with their dances and songs on Lohri. The program was concluded with the vote of thanks to Management, principal and hostel wardens.
