Roles and Responsibility of Higher Technical Institutes in Effective Implementation of National Education Policy 2020
The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a seminar on “Roles and Responsibility of Higher Technical Institutes in Effective Implementation of National Education Policy 2020” on 28th July 2023 in Chatrapati Shivaji Seminar Hall. Dr. Avinash N. Shrikhande, principal , motivated students for maximum registration and attendance in such programs and he focused the main objective of this seminar was to apprise the faculty members about the newly launched National Education Policy-2020 and to familiarise them with the skills needed to understand changes in the curriculum, shift in the pedagogical skills and its implementation for the holistic development of its stakeholders, the students. The Keynote speaker Dr. Vilas P. Mahatme , Dean Academic and Head Computer technology deptt. Shared lot of information with students about National education policy 2020. He said the New Educational Policy seeks to introduce and implement a sea of changes across all levels of education in the country. It is built on the foundational pillars of access, equity, quality, affordability and accountability. Professor Vilas P. Mahatme concluded the session by emphasizing on the challenges likely to be faced in New Education Policy. The programme was indeed informative and useful for the participants. Dr. Pankaj S. Ashtankar , welcomed the dignitaries and thanked all the dignitaries and students present. Mr. Bhushan Deshpande , associate dean (ICT) and Senior faculty along with 112 students who attended and benefitted from the guest lecture.
